How does a PDF QR code work?

A QR code stores a link. For an external PDF, the QR points to a public URL. For a local PDF upload, it works only on the same device/browser because the file is stored locally (offline cache).

Why does my QR code become harder to scan with a logo?

Logos cover some modules. We automatically increase error correction to keep the QR scannable. Use a moderate logo size for best results.
